Epson TM-T82II Receipt Printer Changing Interface Selection

The Interface on the Epson TM-T82II Receipt Printer can be changed through the printer self test.

Perform a self test by holding down the feed button whilst powering on the printer.  A test page will be printed.

The Epson TM-T82II-043 uses menus on the output paper to help us change its settings.  To change the interface selection we need to press the feed button in a sequence.

HOLD the feed button for more than 1 second

A numbered menu will print out, titled “Mode Selection”

PRESS the feed button 3 times, then HOLD the feed button for more than one second

This menu will print out, “Customize Value Settings”

PRESS the feed button 17 times, then HOLD the feed button for more than one second

This menu will print out, “17. Interface Selection”

Mode
    0: Return to previous menu
    1: Ethernet
    2: USB

PRESS the feed button the number of times to select the interface mode you want – eg: 2 for ‘built in usb’, then HOLD the feed button for more than one second

This menu will print out, “Saved - you can turn off your printer”
