If You do not provide Easypos with certain types of Personal Information Easypos may be unable to provide the goods or services requested. Easypos may collect Personal Information via online forms, emails, interactions and in the development, maintenance or administration of the Software including remote access support. Personal Information may be collected when You: (a) contact Easypos either in writing (including email and via the “Contact us” form) or by telephone; (b) provide feedback or make a request; or (c) purchase a Membership Package for Software Support or otherwise engage Easypos, including if You agree to a trial use of the Software. 2.2 TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED Easypos Point of Sale Systems may collect Personal Information including first and last names, email addresses, credit information, employment information and any other Personal Information supplied to Easypos. In addition, in installing and configuring the Software, employees and agents of Easypos may have access to personal information on Your customers in order to install, configure and support the Software. 2.3 PURPOSE OF COLLECTION AND USE Easypos Point of Sale Systems collects, holds, uses and discloses the Personal Information to provide You with goods and Software Support. Easypos may also use Personal Information for the following purposes related to the services it provides: (a) ensuring the accuracy of data in compliance with the Act; (b) providing its Goods and Services; (c) communication with Resellers; (d) maintaining records in relation to its Software; (e) dissemination of publications, releases and other relevant information; (f) administration and marketing; (g) statistical analysis and reports; (h) the exchange of information with key stakeholders; and (i) related purposes. Email addresses will not be added to mailing lists or used for any other purpose without express or implied consent.

Personal Information that is collected may be disclosed to Resellers outside Australia in any Country where Easypos has appointed a Reseller. Easypos takes reasonable steps to ensure that these parties comply with the Act.

Where reasonably practicable, Easypos will provide You with the opportunity to interact anonymously or using a pseudonym. In some circumstances it may be impracticable for Easypos to provide You with a facility to interact anonymously or using a pseudonym. Easypos may be required to obtain Personal Information in order to respond to a request or provide a service.

Easypos takes reasonable steps to destroy or permanently de-identify Personal Information if it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected. 5.2 QUALITY Easypos takes reasonable steps to ensure that the Personal Information Easypos collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date. 5.3 SECURITY Easypos takes reasonable steps to safeguard the disclosure of Personal Information from third parties, contractors and staff. Easypos has up to date procedures and policies relating to information technology as it relates to staff and strive for best practice in this area.
